However you need to be checking it regularly to see if it works. In my experience it regularly forgets to stop a recording and will just fill up the HDD on which you are storing programs. The only thing I can see as that step backward is that to access the main onscreen menu one has to go from fullscreen to a windowed screen thus making it very Un TV like and making it more like a computer program. My computer IS my TVentertainment center and when in TV mode I dont want it to even resemble a computer ifwhen possible. TV screen to reveal the guide and recordings is VERY clunky. NOT like that and I have gone back to that version until there is a fix. I may be missing something because no one else seems to be complaining about this change.
